How Will Slingshot Accomplish The Objective?

Slingshot meets quarterly with leaders from local businesses. At each quarterly meeting selected Indianapolis emerging companies present their business plans. After the meeting, each member of the audience agrees to meet with the presenter if contacted, and to develop a potential vendor relationship or provide advice as to other revenue-generating opportunities.

Are you interested in sharing your company’s story with potential customers?

The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications from Information Technology companies for the Slingshot meeting on August 21, 2009. Three (3) presenters will be selected for this meeting. To apply to be a presenter, complete the attached PowerPoint document. (The criteria for each slide are included). In addition to the PowerPoint, the selection committee requires a list of companies (with key contact person) you currently want to target for prospective business, thus providing the committee an idea of who you want in the audience on August 21, 2009 should you be selected as a presenter.

Why is Slingshot Necessary?

It is imperative that we work as a region to help emerging businesses effectively utilize the limited capital they have. Giving them quicker inroads into potential customers can significantly increase their odds for long-term visibility.

Who Will Determine Which Businesses Present To Slingshot?

A Screening Committee comprised of local business leaders with expertise in reviewing business plans, economic development, management/leadership and strategic planning will screen applications and determine which companies present at the Slingshot meeting.

I'm interested in applying to be a presenting business at an upcoming Slingshot event.
(Please complete and submit the form below. A member of the Screening Committee will be in touch with you.)
