This structured, bi-monthly networking event allows Chamber members and non-members to make one new business contact every two minutes. IPL Power Networking is hosted at Chamber member businesses during breakfast or lunch.
HOW IT WORKS
On event day, each attendee will be given a sheet of paper listing his or her person number and table rotation assignments. Attendees will go to the first table number listed on the sheet. A table monitor at each table will greet each attendee (a total of 10 individuals will be at each table). Each of the 10 individuals will have one minute to introduce him/herself and the organization he/she represents and one minute for questions. During the introduction, each attendee will have the opportunity to hand out business cards and other printed materials. An announcement will be made signaling the end of the first session (20 minutes) and each participant, excluding the table monitors, will proceed to his or her next table assignment and repeat the process for a total of 4 rotations. The idea is to meet as many individuals representing as many different organizations as possible and to receive enough information to follow-up at a later time to make a business connection. Think speed dating, but for the business professional.

TABLE SPONSORS
Member organizations have the opportunity to sponsor a table for $100. Sponsorship includes registration for one person, table signage, and recognition at the podium and in the printed program. The table sponsor will act as the host for his or her respective table. The table sponsor will explain the rules of the process to the participants and will watch the clock/timer during the networking process.
Before you register:
- Pre-registration is required whether paying at the door or online.
- Only one person per company is allowed to attend.
- Cancellations after the registration deadline and no-shows will be invoiced.
- Seats will be released to walk-ins at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and at 12 p.m. for lunch.
