2008 Legislative Agenda

The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce understands that today's professionals are busy focusing on the day-to-day responsibilities of their business operations and may find it difficult to be active in public policy debates that will determine the future business climate.

Recognizing there is a strength in numbers, the Chamber has established its own grassroots advocacy network. This network allows the Chamber to keep members informed on policy issues that affect their businesses, as well as provides business professionals with an efficient and effective means of participating in the legislative process.

Your participation in this united effort not only allows you to become better acquainted wiht the policy process, but also gives you an easy way to have more direct contact wiht the elected officials who determine the future of your business. Most often, it is this direct type of constituent involvement that dramatically impacts how elected officials make decisions about critical issues.
