ChamberCare Health Insurance Savings Program
In partnership with Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield
Chamber members saved $9 million in health insurance costs in 2010 through our ChamberCare health insurance savings program. That means our ChamberCare members saved on average $340 per employee in health insurance costs.
ChamberCare participating companies can save 5% on any benefit plan. To be eligible, Chamber members must have two to 99 full-time employees; not be current Anthem customers; and must be located in Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan or Shelby counties.
Employers may choose the Blue Cross and Blue Shield brand, giving you and your employees access to a network that includes more than 85% of all doctors and hospitals throughout the United States. Another option to choose from includes any of Anthem's other benefit plans and then design it to fit your needs and budget. These include a PPO and a consumer-driven health plan, with such features as a health reimbursement account, a health savings account and a health incentive account.
Participation also gives you and you employees access to reliable health information and tools:
- Preventive coverage, disease management programs and health education
- Anthem.com, where you can check you claim status, order a new ID card or find a doctor
- MyHealth@Anthem, powered by WebMD, where you can find health and wellness articles, calculators, quizzes and assessments
- SpecialOffers@Anthem, which provides information about discounts on health-related products and services
